Arrival

7:00 am-7:30 am: Good Morning!

‘I love car rides, wonder where we are going this morning, let me hang my head out of the window to do some investigative sniffing. OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY, we are near my doggie daycare, hope that’s where we are headed!! OH YAY, Mom is now pulling into the parking lot of daycare, I can’t wait to get inside and see all of my friends. I have the BEST mom ever!!’

Upon arrival, you and your dog will be greeted by one of our wonderful staff members and your dog will then be taken into the back. If you arrive before 7:30, your dog will be placed in their own individual spot until playtime begins at 7:30. If you arrive after 7:30, your dog will be placed directly into their appropriate playgroup. We will then make a special basket for your pooch with it’s name and we will keep your dog’s leash and collar in the basket for safe keeping for the day.

AND REMEMBER: For safety reasons, please don’t let your dogs meet on a leash in the lobby.

Playtime at Dogs All Day Charlotte

7:30 am-11:30 am: Morning Playtime

‘OH GOODIE, it’s time to go outside and play with all of my best buddies! There’s my best friend Louie! I love jumping, chasing, and rolling around with him. I see my human for the day is getting the hose out!! I LOVE playing in the hose water, and it’s always fun when the humans get us to chase and jump up high to get the hose water, that wears me out fast! Think I’ll run up on the playground equipment and pretend I am King Pooch of the day, that’s always fun because usually the human will take my picture if I’m doing something extra cute like that! I see my pal Bonnie Belle is taking a snooze, think I’ll join her for a bit until I’m rested up enough to get some of my buddies together for a game of chase! I love this place so much and have made some great friends over the years!’

During Morning Playtime, your dog will be in a specific playgroup based on age, size, play style, and activity level so your pooch is one happy dog all day long! Morning play group is the most active play group of the day. The dogs are well rested from a night of sleep and are ready to RUN! We do frequent body checks to make sure there are no sore paw pads and the such. Time outs are given for dogs that may not know to take a break on their own or who may be a little too rough in play. If you are watching our webcams during morning playtime, this is when you may see the dogs playing a game of chase, playing in the hose water, splashing around in the pool, climbing on the playground equipment or playing a game of hide and seek. You also may notice your dog lounging from time to time, this is a good thing as constant play will be too tiring for your dog. Most dogs gauge this on their own and will find a nice spot in the play yard to take a break. Some dogs prefer lounging alone and others enjoy cuddling with a friend.

Nap Time Dogs All Day

11:30 am-1:30pm: Naptime

‘OH NO, looks like it’s time to stop playing, the human is dumping out our water buckets and draining the pool. I have an idea, I’m going to play a little game of “You can’t catch me!” with the human, that’s always so much fun..heehee. BOO, she caught me. I don’t want to have to take a nap, well, actually that bed looks quite cozy…..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

At Naptime, your dog is placed into an individual space so they can relax and take a nap to refuel for the afternoon. Any treats(no rawhides) or lunches brought by the parents will be passed out, lights are dimmed, and relaxing music is played throughout the facility.

Afternoon Playtime Dogs All Day

1:30-7:00 Afternoon Playtime

‘YES, YES, YES, the lights just woke me up! I’m going to give a bark out to all my friends so they know it’s playtime again! ARROOOOOOO! I’m getting in the pool this afternoon. I love to splash around and try to catch the water in my mouth, it’s so fun! If I run a lot, I like to just plop down in the pool to cool myself off! All this fun in the pool has made me a little tired again, think I’ll go lay next to the human so she will love on me a bit! There goes my pal Gary taking a lap around the play yard, think I’ll join him. I believe this is what humans call paradise!’

Afternoon Playtime is similar to the morning, but usually with a bit calmer of play. Your pooch is getting tired from a fun day of play. Everyone still wrestles, climbs the playground equipment, and plays chase just at a slower pace as they have had a long day of playing!

4:00-7:00 Pick-up time

‘Hey, I just heard my name on the human’s walkie, that means Mom must be here! I am so excited to see her. Let me in, let me in, Mom is HERE! The human grabs my leash and collar, puts it on me and opens the lobby door. There she is!! I know I’m not supposed to jump on her, but she is my FAVORITE human so I just can’t help myself!

Pick-up time usually begins around 4:00 for our dogs who have been here all day. Most people drop their dogs off before work and pick up after work.
